Namibia Biomass Industry Group (N-BiG) successfully convened the BBE Implementation Strategy Workshop, uniting key partners and stakeholders and N-BiG members to advance Namibia’s bioeconomy
Hosted in collaboration with Bundesverband Bioenergie e.V. (BBE) (The Bioenergy Association in Germany) and supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ), the workshop marked the official transition into Phase 2 of the project: “Strengthening N-BiG and increasing the Namibian bioeconomy.”
Through reflection on Phase 1 achievements, strategic alignment, and interactive stakeholder engagement, participants co‑developed practical pathways for implementation.
Key outcomes included:
– Consolidated strategic recommendations from stakeholders
– Strengthened collaboration and commitment among partners
– Clear implementation priorities to guide next steps
